Major Moment: The Cappellazzo Grand Showcase at the Melbourne Fashion Festival
Last week, we had the pleasure of being part of the Cappellazzo Grand Showcase at the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival, a celebration of 30 years of Melbourne design and craftsmanship. A thoughtfully curated runway bringing together modern and ethereal bridal looks, party outfits made to move, strong silhouettes and intentional styling.
The setting felt iconic yet intimate, staged beneath the heritage dome of the Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne. Clean lines. Soft lighting. A focus on form and fabric. Nothing overdone, just beautifully executed design within one of the city’s most historic architectural spaces.
The collection moved between bold bridal statements and effortless evening wear — balancing structure and ease. Sheer details met precise cuts. Fluid fabrics softened tailored lines. Each look felt refined, wearable and considered.
And underneath it all, Primary.
Our modern lace and mesh elevated each piece quietly — adding texture, shape and subtle contrast without overpowering the design.
