Nette Rose announces itself. Bold florals, considered embroidery, lace that behaves more like an accessory than an undergarment. It is the most overtly joyful line we carry — and one of the ones we get asked about most.

Where it comes from

Nette Rose is designed and made in Cape Town, South Africa. Each piece is handmade — cut, embroidered and finished by hand rather than mass-produced. You can feel it in the construction: the floral lace has weight to it, the embroidery sits slightly raised, the finishing closer to considered lingerie than fast fashion.

The brand's values are simple: joy, femininity, and craftsmanship. Nothing about it is designed to be sexualised or performative. It is lingerie made for the person wearing it, first.

The current range

Nette Rose moves through named collections, each built around a single lace and colour story, and the range changes as new ones arrive. Right now, the collections we hold most of are Harley, in black ornate floral lace with a longline frill hem, and Oslo, a softer beige lingerie mesh finished with white embroidered flowers.

Alongside those, Apple brings sky blue embroidery lace scattered with little green apples, Primrose is a refined white lace with pink heart embroidery, and Argentina sits in deep crimson mesh with floral appliqué. The Freya Bodysuit — soft floral lace over smooth, breathable fabric — is a considered choice for a wedding or an evening that calls for something more.

Each collection is generally built out as a triangle bralette with a matching thong, and often a garter belt to finish the set.

Every Nette Rose bralette can be paired with a thong from the same collection for 10 per cent off the thong, or a thong and garter belt for 25 per cent off both — a considered way to build the full set without buying it all in one go.
